First Lady, The Greater First Baptist Church

First Lady Rev. Lenia Queen is the devoted wife of Rev. Dr. Jonathan Z. Queen and the proud mother of six adult children. She is affectionately known as "Mom-Mom" to nine grandchildren whom she absolutely adores, along with two beloved fur babies, Ocho and Echo. Family remains at the center of her life and ministry.

Education & Professional Excellence

First Lady Queen holds an Associate of Arts in Human Resource Management from Virginia College, a Professional Human Resource Management Certificate from Villanova University, a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Lancaster Bible College, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LBC | Capital Seminary & Graduate School. Her academic preparation equips her with a holistic framework that seamlessly integrates theology, emotional wellness, and relational health. As a nationally board-certified and licensed therapist she is deeply committed to the practical integration of faith and mental health.

Faith Journey & Ministry Calling

She accepted Christ as her personal Savior in 1986 and rededicated her life in 2001 and has faithfully served God through ministry, leadership, and compassionate care ever since. Licensed as a minister of the gospel in October 2021 and ordained in August 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden under the leadership of Senior Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr., she brings wisdom, grace, and spiritual discernment to every sphere of her calling.

Ministry Experience

She served as an associate pastor and group ministry coordinator for the Children and Youth Department at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden, where she poured into the next generation of leaders with passion, integrity, and intentional mentorships.

Professional Ministry & Community Leadership

First Lady Queen is the CEO, founder, and lead clinician of Sister2Sister Therapy, where she helps women heal, restore faith, and cultivate thriving marriages and relationships. Alongside her husband, she also co-founded New Mindz Ministries, a 501(c)(3) organization providing mentoring and support to returning citizens, at-risk individuals, and their families.
